Cloud Account Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Create long-term, trusting relationships with customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities and the onboarding of new partners. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Brand departments) to improve the entire customer experience. Should collaborate with the sales team to achieve quotas while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with products and services
Cloud Account Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities.
Sales and Account Management of FD’s First for Cloud offerings to MSP Allocated Reseller Database
- Driving targets based on monthly GP targets on allocated
- Sales, Business Development, and Knowledge Transfer of Cloud offerings to allocated accounts.
- Recruit and onboard additional resellers
- Expand product offerings within existing
- Driving reseller business and marketing strategy to enable the expansion of the FD brand portfolio within existing and new targeted ac-
- Understand reseller strategy, programs, and complete portfolio of
- Sales Certifications to be current on all brands and
- Regular Business Review Sessions with Brand and Presales (FD)
- Regular Pipeline Status of projected deals and probability of deal status
- Report opportunity details to the Sales manager on a regular basis showing deal progression and pipeline creation using Customer Relation- ship Management system. Discuss KPI and Target tracking weekly.
- Track and forecast, Partner Activities and status of activities
- Feedback on brand performance and measure success will be discussed in regular meetings with the sales manager.
- Engage and communicate Brand updates to
- Attend regular Brand discussions, planning, pipeline, and updating sessions with the Brand team.
- Build and manage relationships with Key Resellers and FD Brand and Presales teams.
- Be the Central point of contact for all resellers on Vendor Programmes (e.g. partner programs, incentive programs, and rebate programs). Loop in the FD Brand manager for support
- Ensure the satisfactory execution of the Reseller business strategy
- Attend Reseller meetings, 2-3 per
- Attend Vendor Conferences
- Demonstrate sales
- Ensure that sales targets are achieved and report any deviations with detailed reasoning
Marketing Management
- Attend marketing planning sessions with the brand manager and marketing hub (FD). Help to drive initiatives for the Top Partner list.
- Encourage reseller awareness and attendance of all FD events and in
People Management
- Managing reseller's expectations by engaging with operations, Brand, and Pre-sales teams to support all Reseller requests.
- Attend training provided by Vendors to become totally self-sufficient in the sales of products
REQUIREMENTS

Requirements :
- Matric
- Information Technology Diploma
- 3 years of IT Sales experience specifically in the Cloud and Hosting industry.

- Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00.

- Reliable transport to and from the office.

- This is a permanent position subject to a successful three-month probationary period.
