MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Selling and driving annual and quarterly targets in the effective management of business activities to support sales and incremental revenue in support of the brand.

 

IBM Sales Specialist Job Duties and Responsibilities.

 

Effective Account Management

  • Identify and engage with correct business partner personnel
  • Execution and ownership of business plans
  • Provide bi-weekly and quarterly feedback and updates regarding the business plans (information obtained from the Customer Relationship Management tool)
  • Identified activities to be carried out in agreement with relevant Sales Managers
  • Update and generate reports bi-weekly on current forecasts and pipelines.
  • Recruit new business partners in your territory –
  • Ensure that Epsidon Technology Distribution meets Vendor Distribution requirements.

Marketing Plan

  • Forecast of marketing plan/activity for business partners.
  • Plan and prepare specific demand generation activities per quarter based on increasing incremental business engagements.

Sales

  • Vendor product sales endorsements.
  • Provide education on competitive products.
  • Prepare battle cards in conjunction with the vendor and marketing team to provide competitive sales insight to our partners and sales.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets set by the Brand Manager.
  • Maintain minimum brand-specific GP targets as set by the Brand Manager.
  • Achieve alignment with vendor revenue targets.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Internal training associated with competencies:

  • During the first week of your employment, you'll be presented with a meticulously crafted learning map designed to seamlessly guide you through your on-the-job training experience.

 

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Matric
  • Diploma or Degree in IT will be advantageous.
  • Min 3 years’ experience working in an IT sales environment.
  • Previous IBM HW/SW experience will be advantageous

Office Requirements:

  • Work-from-office environment.
  • Semi-formal dress code.
  • Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.
